The legend of Masan Cave’s Yong'an Palace is located in Simei Village, Dongshi Township, where the main deities are Prince Yuan and Emperor Baosheng. Originally, it was served by the “Bolu” method, rotating among households in the community. Construction of the temple began in 1979 (ROC 68). The name Masan Cave comes from a sand dune on the northern side of the locality that resembles the shape of a horse, covering an area of about 3 hectares.
