Longshan Temple is located in Longshan Village, Qigou District. Upon arriving in Longshan Village, one can see the magnificent temple exterior, which is an important architectural landmark of the village and a significant spiritual center for the villagers. The locals refer to Longshan Temple as the "Royal Palace," primarily dedicated to the King Lord, and also honors the Five Lords of the Prefecture, the Heavenly Mother, the Field Marshal, the Marshal of the Central Altar, the General's Mansion, the God of Virtue and Good Fortune, and the Goddess of Childbirth, among other deities.
The interior of Longshan Temple boasts an opulent decor, with intricate coffered ceilings overhead and captivating wall paintings adorning the walls, showcasing the beauty of traditional architecture.
In front of Longshan Temple lies the Longshan Fishing Harbor, where local fishermen sell their daily catch. The auction of fresh seafood begins at 6:30 every morning. Not only can one purchase the freshest produce, but also experience the lively and unique market transactions. The harbor is also a great starting point to explore nearby sandbars, admire the scenic oyster racks, and enjoy a guided tour.
