The county government has invested over NT$2 million to create a dedicated "Dog Paradise" specialty zone for pets. The pet park is situated in a coastal area with an expansive view, offering a cozy and pleasant setting where one can enjoy panoramic views of the cross-sea bridge and the West Island. This space provides pets a suitable place to exercise and play, as well as another opportunity to interact with other dogs. The 0.2-hectare pet activity zone separates large and small dogs by their exercise areas. Dogs under 9 kg are considered small, while others are large. It is recommended to enter the respective zones according to your dog's weight. Within the activity area, facilities like ditches and small hills are equipped with safety fences to prevent the pets from getting lost or accidentally entering the road and causing danger. Pet owners can bring balls, frisbees, or other toys to interactively bond with their dogs or sit on nearby stone benches to enjoy the scenic view with their pets. The park also includes three dog-waste collection bins and provides garbage bags.
