Located at the intersection of Zhongshan 4th Road and Kaiyuan 4th Road, Qianzhen Zhi Xing is a multifunctional bicycle bridge. Due to the complex traffic flow and heavy vehicle volume at this multi-branch intersection, pedestrians crossing the road face significant dangers. The installation of bicycle lanes not only improves human‑vehicle safety but also connects the Jin‑Gang Line bicycle lane, Qianzhen River bicycle lane, and Fengshan Creek bicycle lane systems, forming a complete, energy‑saving, carbon‑reducing bicycle network. The Qianzhen Zhi Xing bridge is 5 m wide, designed with separate paths for pedestrians and bicycles. Structurally, curved steel beams extend in all directions, complemented by a sun‑shading canopy that folds along the curve, creating multi‑layered aesthetics and softening the rigid urban landscape. The intersection of the lanes is shaped like a tree trunk, with an aerial garden. Beyond establishing a landmark for the city, it offers a natural, restful center for those walking or cycling on the bridge, where users can pause, enjoy the view, and feel the surrounding nature. At night, the approach lanes and the bridge are illuminated with different colors and layers of halo lighting, enhancing safety for both pedestrians and vehicles, and giving Qianzhen a vibrant, colorful new landmark.
