Chen Feng-xian is a Taiwanese miniature artist renowned for his rice-carving, micro-books and other tiny creations; he has exhibited in the Americas, Europe, Russia, and his works are housed in his own Miniature Carving Museum. With a profound aesthetic background, Chen can carve Buddhas or other objects in less than one millimeter—so small they can fit inside the eye of a needle—and has produced more than 120 pieces over three decades. In addition to carvings, the museum also displays Chen’s sketches and calligraphy.
