Although “Jiā-bā” has only been open for a little over two years, all its set-meal and snack ingredients are sourced locally and from Taiwan. The owner’s original intention was to give Kinmen residents more dining choices, so he opened this place. At “Jiā-bā” you’ll find fried rice, fried noodles, braised rice, dumplings, and the shop’s bestseller—beef-noodle soup. The storefront is small and unremarkable, but the owner pours heart into the business and focuses on flavor. Popular dishes such as sakura-shrimp fried rice, Indonesian dry tossed noodles, spicy diced chicken rice, bitter melon with salted egg, sautéed three delicacies, Hakka stir-fry, garlic-stem pork belly, and three-cup chicken are all must-tries when you visit!
