Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park is located on No. 2, Section of West City Street. It is said that in 1661, Zheng Chenggong landed in Taiwan from Lukou Gate. In order to commemorate his achievements, Lukou Gate Holy Mother Temple donated land to build this memorial park. The entrance of the park is a magnificent red archway with a traditional Chinese architectural style. To the left of the entrance is "Chenggong Forest". The forest was planted to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Zheng Chenggong's landing. There is also a tall statue of Zheng Chenggong and a monument in the park. The monument has the inscription "National Hero Zheng Chenggong Lukou Gate Landing Memorial" written by General Chiang Ching-kuo. The simple and elegant park has comfortable pavilions and spacious walkways. It has become a popular spot for nearby residents to take a stroll after dinner.
