Guangyu International Digital Entertainment Development Company spent 29 days constructing "HOLO PARK Yancheng Projection Experience" at the edge of Kaohsiung Port. Featuring a retro-style 1950s shopping street and cinema brimming with nostalgic charm, complemented by the world's first "7D Holographic Theater", this project presents a fusion of retro elements with futuristic technology to promote Kaohsiung. HOLO PARK 襯像 Yancheng is situated at No. 7 Wharf of Kaohsiung Port, merely 200 meters from the Da Gang Bridge. Must-see attractions include the retro shopping street and the double-decker bus installation scenery on the plaza, along with an international-style special market offering gourmet cuisine, nostalgic games, cultural and creative products, and bars. This location guarantees an immersive experience from food, drinks, entertainment, and leisure. In the 1950s, Yancheng saw a harmonious integration of Eastern and Western cultures. HOLO PARK meticulously designed Yancheng Old Street as a double-story traditional shophouse (pānzǎi-cuō) while also incorporating European-style buildings, such as the former Dadao Grand Theater, once Kaohsiung's most luxurious theater. Inside this historic venue, the latest 7D Holographic Theatre showcases stories of the past through a multisensory experience. Funded by the Kaohsiung City Sensor Technology Industrial Park Project, this 7D Holographic Theatre premieres the motion picture "Glorious Port City – The Key of Memories," utilizing exclusive holographic audiovisual technology to market Kaohsiung's scenery through a modern romantic drama. The immersive experience allows viewers to witness an unprecedented visual journey through seven of the most iconic attractions of Kaohsiung Port over the past century.
