Qianshan Park is located in the Yangming Mountain area, adjacent to the east side of Shamao Mountain, Yangming Mountain Bus Terminal, and the Teacher's Training Center. It is an important tourist attraction in the suburbs of Taipei, covering an area of approximately 38,328 square meters.
The park boasts a diverse landscape. In addition to Shamao Mountain and Qixing Mountain, a slope stream on the west side of Zhongshan Building at the foot of Qixing Mountain was introduced during the Japanese rule, running through the park. The stream converges to form Yangming Lake, which reflects the beautiful scenery of Qixing Mountain.
There are free public baths for both men and women near the lake, making it a popular destination. It is a great place for spring cherry blossom viewing, summer heat relief, autumn gatherings, and winter maple viewing.
Qianshan No. 4 Park is based on the concept of Shamao Mountain's round volcanic body and features well-growing wisteria from Yangming Mountain, creating a landscape that echoes the Shamao Mountain shape.
The park uses green hills as a new entrance image of Yangming Mountain. When the wisteria blooms, visitors can indulge in the romantic and purple scenery.
Qianshan No. 3 Park is located in No. 38, Lane 1, Yangming Road, Section 1. When the park's cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom, it feels like a secluded paradise away from the city.
Qianshan No. 1 Park - Panliu Garden is located next to the Teacher's Training Center. The park renovated the Heart-Shaped Pond, the shaded Moon Lake recreation area, foot-bathing pools, several mountain spring waterways, and hot spring waterways.
The Panliu Garden, which combines the volcanic rock of Yangming Mountain, features landscape stones arranged by Japanese national treasure-level stonemason Xiao Kouji, making the old and new rocks complement each other.
Visitors can appreciate the beautiful scenery of the mountain, forest, and water.
Qianshan No. 2 Park - Yangming Lake area is separated from Panliu Garden by a road. A stream runs through Shamao Bridge and converges into a lake in this area.
In addition to renovating the free public baths for both men and women, two new hot spring foot-bathing pools were added, allowing visitors to soak their feet while admiring the beautiful reflection of Shamao Mountain in the lake and the unique scenery of water lilies blooming in winter.
Along the lake edge on Shamao Road, band-shaped andesite rock lantern seats are set, providing a place for rest and appreciation of the magnificent mountain shapes of Penglai Island in the lake and Qixing Mountain.
The reconstruction project restored the edge of Yangming Lake to a natural pool style, with grass and stones gently extending into the water. New green maple and cherry blossom trees were planted near the lake, making it more natural and elegant.
The dredged Yangming Lake water presents a rare dreamy blue lake landscape in Taiwan, composing a symphony of mountains and water.
