The tree species is Chamaecyparis formosana and it is a compound tree, and it is the tallest giant tree in the stilt path of the giant tree group. The diameter at breast height is 4 meters, and the tree height is 45 meters. The estimated age of the main trunk is 1,087 to 1,103 years. Many endemic plants of Taiwan, including Rhododendron formosanum and Asplenium nidus, grow on the giant tree, showing a rich ecological environment.
