Jieyun Temple is located on Ximen Street in Banqiao District, mainly worshipping Guanyin Buddha. Its predecessor was "Ciyunyan" in Shibi Lake, Zhonghe, which was built during the Yongzheng era, and its history spans over two hundred years. In the third year of the Xianfeng era, Ciyunyan was burned down by people from Quanzhou. In the sixth year of the Xianfeng era, it was relocated to the northwest corner of Banqiao City by Lin Guofang, and later moved to its current location to build a temple for worship, replacing Ciyunyan as the faith center of the 13 villages (now Banqiao, Zhonghe, Yonghe, and Tucheng). Jieyun Temple means "to welcome" or "to receive incense," indicating that Ciyunyan was not rebuilt at its original site after being destroyed, but instead was relocated to Banqiao, showing that under the construction of the Lin family, Banqiao had replaced Zhonghe as the commercial, faith, and self-defense center of the area at that time. The temple collects many precious ancient couplets and plaques, and on the roof of the main hall, there are many flying heavenly immortals wooden carvings wrapped in gold foil, which are very dazzling. Along with its unique long elliptical caisson design, the temple has significant historical and religious value.
