The Er-lin Bikeway was converted from a former Taiwan Sugar Railways line. During the growing season, golden rice paddies stretch endlessly, the ears of rice dancing playfully with the wind. From September to October, a full row of pink-flowered silk-floss trees along the route past Xiangtian Elementary School is a dazzling sight. December brings fields of buckwheat blossoms; strolling along the dikes through this romantic expanse of snowy white, you won’t be able to stop pressing your shutter.
