The Nantian stones are not naturally formed within Nantian itself. Instead, they are stones carried down from the mountains by nearby rivers. These stones have been constantly rolled and polished by the area's unique topography and ocean currents, resulting in smooth, round shapes without sharp edges. In contrast, the originally embedded quartz crystals within the stones have now become exposed, creating irregular patterns on the surfaces of the stones, each one displaying bizarre and diverse shapes. In addition to Nantian stones, Alangyiku Ancient Trail is another sightseeing attraction. The Alangyiku Ancient Trail was historically used by indigenous people for transporting goods between northern and southern regions. It has since become overgrown and is now visited by hikers and trekkers who appreciate its historical and natural value. To protect the environment and manage visitor impact, the trail now implements a quota control system. Visitors interested in hiking the Alangyiku Ancient Trail must inquire about and obtain relevant information in advance. [Source: Bukuo Backpacker's Pengtaitong Indigenous Tourism Guidebook]
