The scenic trails along Zhongxiao Road and Shi Xian Road, lined with lush greenery, have become a favorite among cyclists. The city's Transportation Department has designed bike paths that allow riders to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. Shi Xian Road, a major outer ring road in Chiayi City, stretches 90 meters wide, with eight lanes and wide greenbelts on either side. The bike path winds its way through the forest, providing a serene experience for cyclists. As you ride along Shi Xian Road, the hustle and bustle of traffic outside won't disturb you. Each section of the bike path offers a unique landscape and scenery. The road surface varies, with both concrete and brick sections, adding to the excitement of the ride. When you need a break, rest assured that there are designated areas to park your bicycle. Construction of this scenic trail began in 2008 (民國97年).
