Yang Bridge, originally a wooden bridge spanning the old Lukang Creek, has undergone several reconstructions to assume its present form. Also known as Yang Gong Bridge, it served as a key transportation route between Lukang and southern Taiwan. When standing on the bridge, one could marvel at the crystal-clear stream reflecting the bright moonlight, leading to the poetic charm of "Moon Viewing at Yang Bridge" that became widely celebrated on its own, ultimately becoming one of the Eight Scenery Spots of Lukang.
