The Gu Yue Folklore Museum was constructed in the First Month of the Jia Shen Year (Republic of China Year 93, January), utilizing the site of the Tian Hou Palace, which was demolished after being bombarded during air raids in the Second World War. After an engineering period of two years, the museum was completed in the Wu Zheng Year, Pu Month (Republic of China Year 95, May). Aiming to transmit Taiwan's traditional culture, the museum achieves this through limited space and a limitless collection, meticulously planned with small-scale investment and construction.
