連江縣南竿鄉印地安人頭岩
Scenic Beauty Sculpted by Nature Along the mountain ridge lines of the Dahan Outpost following the coastal terrain, the rock formations along the coastline have been eroded over time by waves and wind. One resembles the lateral silhouette of an Indian's head lying horizontally along the shoreline; others liken it to the head of a Black Gorilla or a Giant Ape. When walking toward the Beihai Tunnels' entrance and looking to the right, some describe the entire slope as resembling a coiled crocodile, so lifelike that visitors marvel at their imaginations being fully satisfied. The Indian Head Rock, Dahan Outpost, and Beihai Tunnels are geographically close to each other and near the Nangang Visitor Center. When visiting Ren'ai Village on Nangang Island, it's recommended to plan a route that includes visiting these multiple attractions. Amidst the grand scenery and ocean waves, one can fully enjoy the natural wonders and military landscapes. Note: Indian Head Rock is located directly above the Dahan Outpost. It can be viewed from the observation deck on the right side facing the entrance of the Beihai Tunnels.
