Wanli District is located by the sea and therefore focuses on the fishing industry and coastal tourism. The area is known for the Wild Lily (Yehliu) Scenic Area and its "Queen's Head" erosion landscape. The surrounding ports are filled with fishing boats, and the Fishing Village Life Museum is a great place to learn about the fishing industry. The Wanli Fishing Village Life Museum was established based on the marine classroom of Yehliu Elementary School, and the museum showcases common fishing village objects such as fishing nets, crab traps, fishing lines, fish finders, fishing lights, anchors, fishing gear, and bait. These items were moved from the warehouses of community elders' homes and record the historical traces of the fishing village's development, telling the story of the fishermen's hard work and blood sweat over the decades. Visiting the museum is like entering a time tunnel of early fishing village life.
