苗栗縣大湖鄉民生路200號
The Luo Fu-star Memorial Hall, located at the middle of the mountain, has a deep blue roof and a light yellow-orange exterior. From a distance, you can see this building that combines Hakka round house and Chinese architectural features. It was established to commemorate Luo Fu-star, a patriot who resisted Japanese rule. He was dissatisfied with Japanese colonial rule and secretly planned anti-Japanese activities. In 1914, he was arrested and sacrificed along with many other patriots. After Taiwan's recovery, the government built a martyr's tower in Dahu to bury the remains of these patriots. Later, with efforts from all circles in Dahu Township, the memorial hall was established near the martyr's tower and officially opened in 2000. It is a multi-functional local cultural center with 4 floors above ground and 1 floor below ground. The exhibits are divided into static and dynamic parts. The first floor is a multi-functional meeting hall and office. The second floor is the Dahu Specialty Hall, which introduces traditional industries in Dahu, such as strawberries, lemongrass, camphor, and silk. The third floor is another multi-functional meeting hall where people can hold workshops or performances. The fourth floor is the Luo Fu-star Memorial Hall, which displays Luo Fu-star's photos, indictment, judgment documents, and poems he wrote during his time in hiding.
