Founded in the 13th year of Emperor Guangxu’s reign, “Feng Yan Cake” is a product developed by our ancestor, Zheng Chu. During the Japanese occupation, it received the Gold Prize in Tokyo in the 15th year of the Taishō era. Other confections such as Kǔo Su Bing, Feng Huang Su, Shi Hua Cake, Tǔ Feng Li Su, and Green Bean Cake were also awarded the Food Gold Prize during the Japanese rule. In recent years, it has been recommended by the Changhua County Government as a representative product of the “Changhua Hundred Banquets.” Source: Lukang Township Office
