The Weihsin Road "134" Alley "19" and "21" dormitories serve as a public-private partnership operational management center, and are thus named "Reform Academy 1921 - Old Prison 134 Operations Center". The dormitory building of Chiayi Old Prison was built in 1921. The Chiayi Old Prison dormitories have been transformed into a wooden culture industry聚落, not only reproducing the spatial structure, pattern characteristics, courtyard lawns, and winding paths of wooden houses, but also utilizing intelligent technology to detect and remotely control equipment to prevent fires and intrusions. It is the first old house in Taiwan to introduce a customized smart disaster prevention system.
