Endemic to Taiwan – Playful Beasts Ice Cream, "SI SIOU A" (Hokkien pronunciation for a snack). Developed and refined over two years by a doctor-owner, this cooling effect souvenir snack is rare in the market for being "water-free" and "zero chemical additives." By eliminating artificial additives and preserving the original flavor of ingredients, it aims to provide a safe, satisfying, and Yushan-characteristic healthy treat for both adults and children. Besides the four small-beast flavors made with local ingredients such as strawberry, matcha, milk and peanut, pineapple, and others, seasonal flavors like summer-exclusive mango and Yuhu Bao lychee are added according to the occasion. Each flavor of the Playful Beasts Ice Cream series is represented by an animal motif from four "Taiwanese endemic species" that inhabit the Yushan region: the Formosan macaque, blue-bellied parrotbill, Formosan tree frog, and Formosan black bear.
