金門縣891金湖鎮玉章路往太武山方向
Walking up about 1.3 kilometers from the Yuzhang Road Archway leads to the site where Zheng Chenggong observed military maneuvers and played chess. This was a place where Zheng Chenggong and his advisors would strategize during wartime and enjoy playing chess in their leisure time. There is a natural cave here, originally with ancient tables and chairs engraved with a go board, but they have all collapsed. What is now seen here is a later restoration by the Taiwan military. The platform beside the cave offers a panoramic view, allowing one to point out the scenery on the mainland across the water. The outer walls and the interwoven fields in the western part of Kinmen Island are clearly visible. Indeed, Zheng Chenggong's choice to observe military maneuvers here was a demonstration of his keen insight.
