Angela and Eric were once just colleagues; a shared passion for baking inspired them to start a business together. At first it was only a studio, but wanting to see the happy smiles on customers’ faces when they tasted the food, they transformed it into a café-pâtisserie, launching the new journey of “Aoman Hand-made Bakery Workshop.” Every cake and loaf in the shop is made by their own hands; the hours before opening are spent elbow-deep in flour and cream. Their signature mille-crêpe cakes layer flavor upon flavor with different ingredients. All desserts use light, fresh cream and less sugar to ease the burden on the stomach. The daily limited-edition breads rise from yeast they cultivate themselves. The most popular drink, “Coffee-No-Longer-Thirsty,” blends single-origin coffee with freshly squeezed lemon juice and molasses; the rim is sugared, adding a sweet-tart surprise to every sip—addictive like a cocktail and a summer must-order.
