Probably the best thing about this bar for many is its name. Tickly My Fantasy is a small Taipei dive bar/restaurant located on the busy Anhe Road in Xinyi near Carnegie's, which is open until late and a cozy spot to have a refreshing drink and a bite to eat, and hang out with friends. The decor and layout inside is modern and spacious enough, however the atmosphere is not always that inviting, and the not-so-friendly owner is known for getting in your face if you behave in a way not to her liking, e.g. being too noisy or in a large group. If you don't like a smoke-filled bar, this Taipei bar might not be the right fit for you. It's not really a place where you'll be looking to make new friends, but more geared towards entertaining current friends. That being said though, Tickle My Fantasy is usually busy and packed with locals, so they must be doing something right? Tickling tastebuds more like. Look towards the well-priced food and drinks menu.
