Located in Douliu City, Goose Mama Goose Kids’ Park is a brand-new, no-admission hybrid park that combines outdoor grounds, a retail store, Goose Love Italian artisanal gelato, Goose Love Italian restaurant, diverse DIY educational workshops, and meeting rooms. The outdoor area not only offers plenty of play equipment but also vast lawns where children can run wild and interact with the park’s stars—the goose babies. Visitors can also explore an aquaponics system and green-energy education zone, paired with varied hands-on DIY classes that blend leisure with learning, letting kids naturally “goose-cover” the wonders around them! The park is designed for families with children; its friendly layout suits all ages, inviting kids and adults alike to start from the perspectives of “getting close to nature, understanding agriculture, recognizing bio-industries, experiencing creative eco-detergents, and making plant-based crafts.” Digital tools, immersive experiences, and circular-economy channels revitalize the site and integrate resources, attracting diverse vendors to build a platform combining tourism, recreation, production, incubation, and education. The park’s slogan: “Kids burn energy, adults zone out, grandparents relax”—a perfect getaway for family and friends. Goose Mama Goose Kids’ Park is also one of the few local revitalization sites. This year the government is adding perks: through 31 Aug 2022, pay with Taiwan Pay at the park store or Goose Love restaurant and receive 30 % cash back, with a total budget of NT$140 million.
