Flower-viewing, fruit-picking, and loach-catching
Yunke Eco-Leisure Farm specializes in citrus; in autumn and winter visitors can join the fruit-harvest experience, while spring and summer focus on blossom viewing, earth-oven cooking, and children’s DIY activities. In the largest loach pond in Yunlin County, parents and children can play together and relive the rural fun of catching loach in days gone by.
Douliu Yunke Farm lies about 900 m from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology on University Road, so transport is very convenient. The owner, Mr. Chen Wan-sheng, is a nationally awarded “Shennong” farmer. Besides many varieties of citrus, the grounds are planted with flowers and herbs and stocked with animals.
Yunke Farm offers small plots where the public can try being a farmer, but because daily farm work is demanding the site does not serve walk-in visitors; only group applications are accepted, for eco-experiences, barbecues, group games, and water activities.
Douliu is rich in fruit, and Yunke Eco-Leisure Farm lets everyone enjoy the pleasure of picking it straight from the orchard.
