The historic Zhulinsi Guanyin Temple has a majestic and grand exterior with a Chinese palace-style design, enshrining the 18-armed Guanyin Buddha. The temple is always crowded with worshippers, and its spacious courtyard can accommodate thousands of people at the same time, making it a center of faith for residents in the surrounding areas of Linkou, Taoyuan, and Luzhu. The temple is also a famous Guanyin temple and a popular religious attraction. Zhulinsi Guanyin Temple was built in the traditional southern Fujian style, preserving the essence of Taiwanese folk art. The temple's intricate wood carvings and stone sculptures feature motifs of insects, fish, birds, beasts, human figures, and flowers, showcasing exquisite and elegant craftsmanship. Upon entering the main hall, don't forget to look up and admire the carvings on the beams and the golden foil decorations on the ceiling, which are both magnificent and awe-inspiring. The large pillars, the crossbeams of the worship hall, and the wooden materials used for the offering tables are all made from Taiwanese cypress, with a total of 38 Taiwan thousand-year-old cypress trees used in the construction of the temple. The main hall's massive beams span approximately 15 meters, and the wooden joints are connected using mortise and tenon, demonstrating the exceptional craftsmanship of the artisans who built the temple. In addition to appreciating the architectural beauty of the temple, every spring, the pink cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom, adding to the temple's grandeur. The garden also features Japanese stone lanterns and stone guardian dogs, providing a great spot to take photos from different angles and experience a Japanese atmosphere without leaving the country.
