Maolin Qixing Valley is located on a tributary of Zuko Stream in the southern part of Maolin District. Its name in the Rukai language is "Tulalay." Renowned for its natural beauty, including mountain gorges, hot springs (currently closed), and streams, this valley combines clear stream and waterfall scenery. A suspension bridge spans across the stream, with several flat campsites beneath suitable for camping and fishing. Qixing Valley is situated downstream of Zuko Stream, and the longest bridge in the scenic area—the Xingnong Suspension Bridge—crosses over it. The stream winds through gently, offering a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The waterfall cluster in Qixing Valley consists of five tiers; stepping up along the staircase path on the left side of the waterfall takes about ten minutes to reach the second tier. Continuing upstream, the forest gradually becomes more primitive, humidity increases, and the air feels cool and soothing. The ribbon-like waterfall hidden in the secluded valley will amaze visitors. The area is lush with vegetation, its rugged mountains and beautiful landscapes creating an unforgettable scene. (Note: the road is currently closed.)
