Da Zhi Zhi Fu Gong is the spiritual and cultural center of the Da Zhi area residents (including Zhongshan District, Nei Hu District, and Shi Lin District), and also one of the international tourist temples and cultural tourism destinations.
Da Zhi Zhi Fu Gong has a history of more than 200 years. It mainly worships the Taoist god "Fu De Zheng Shen" as the main deity. It follows the Taoist temple system and spirit, enshrines the accompanying deities, and aims to promote Taoist teachings, establish popular correct beliefs, guide people to do good, purify society, carry forward the traditional cultural ethics, and carry out social charity and public welfare activities.
In addition, Da Zhi Zhi Fu Gong also enshrines and offers the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, the Heavenly Mother, the Bao Yi Da Fu, the Bao Sheng Da Di, the Wen Chang Di Jun, the Guan Sheng Di Jun, and the Wu Fu Qian Sui (Wang Ye Gong) of Li Chi, Wu Zhu, and Fan. It offers the "Tai Sui Deng Guang Ming Deng", "An Ping Deng", "Wen Chang Deng", "Cai Li Deng", and "Qi Fu Zhen Xiang Fu Hui Yuan Man" all year round for the faithful to offer prayers for blessings and wisdom.
On the first day of the first lunar month: at 11:15 AM, the first incense is burned, and blessings and divine grace are offered.
On the tenth day of the first lunar month: the new year's lights are lit and the "Tai Sui Star Lord, An Ping Deng, Guang Ming Deng, Wen Chang Deng, and Cai Li Deng" are enshrined for the blessing of the new year and the celebration of the eight festivals.
On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month: the birthday of the Tian Guan Da Di, the "Qi An Zhi Fu Fa Hui" (Blessing and Virtue Ceremony).
On the second day of the second lunar month: the birthday of Fu De Zheng Shen, the celebration of the "Tu Di Gong Sheng Zhi Fu Lian Huan" (Land God's Birthday and Blessing Gathering) event. Also, the Land God Association's social dinner.
On the third day of the second lunar month: the birthday of the Wen Chang Di Jun, the Zi Tong's birthday.
On the nineteenth day of the second lunar month: the birthday of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin.
On the fifteenth day of the third lunar month: the birthday of the Bao Sheng Da Di, Wu Zhen Ren.
On the thirty-third day of the third lunar month: the birthday of the Heavenly Mother, the "Qi An Zhi Fu Fa Hui" (Blessing and Virtue Ceremony).
On the tenth day of the fourth lunar month: the birthday of the Bao Yi Da Fu, Zhang Xun.
On the seventeenth day of the fourth lunar month: the anniversary of the reconstruction and enshrinement of the Da Zhi Land God.
On the forty-sixth day of the fourth lunar month: the birthday of the Wu Fu Qian Sui, Li Wang Ye.
On the forty-seventh day of the fourth lunar month: the birthday of the Wu Fu Qian Sui, Fan Wang Ye.
On the fifteenth day of the sixth lunar month: the birthday of the Wu Fu Qian Sui, Chi Wang Ye.
On the nineteenth day of the sixth lunar month: the anniversary of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin's attainment of enlightenment.
On the forty-fourth day of the sixth lunar month: the birthday of the Guan Sheng Di Jun.
On the eighteenth day of the seventh lunar month: the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival's "Pu Du Fa Hui" (Universal Relief Ceremony).
On the nineteenth day of the seventh lunar month: the birthday of the Tai Sui Star Lord.
On the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month: the day when the Land God attained enlightenment and ascended to heaven, and the birthday of the Wu Fu Qian Sui, Zhu Wang Ye.
On the sixteenth day of the eighth lunar month: the social dinner of the Fu Shou Hui. The activity of begging for the "Qiu Gui" (turtle) starts from the thirteenth day of the eighth lunar month.
On the fifteenth day of the ninth lunar month: the birthday of the Wu Fu Qian Sui, Wu Wang Ye.
On the fifteenth day of the tenth lunar month: the birthday of the Shui Guan Da Di, the "Qi An Zhi Fu Fa Hui" (Blessing and Virtue Ceremony).
On the twenty-second day of the twelfth lunar month: the end-of-year lamp-off ceremony, and the completion of the merits.
On the second and sixteenth days of each lunar month: recite scriptures and prayers for blessings, and the disciples below the altar enjoy blessings and wisdom.
