Established in 1982, Tianmao Co., Ltd. Chenglong Factory was renamed Xiangyi Food Co., Ltd. in January 2003. The company primarily produces rice noodles. The owner, Lin Mingxing, and his wife, Mrs. Li Qiuxia, worked together to establish the rice noodle factory. Mrs. Li Qiuxia is dedicated to agricultural transformation and, under the guidance of the Kouhu Township Farmers' Association rice production and marketing class, continuously researched and developed new products. In 1994, she was awarded the "Top 10 Outstanding Farmer Women [Shennong Award]". Due to the company's first-rate production techniques and strict quality control, it gained the favor of the Japanese and developed an export market to Japan, creating more job opportunities for local women. To promote industrial leisure and sightseeing development, in conjunction with the Jinhu Leisure Agriculture Area Visitor Center, a series of industrial experience activities were planned, providing school field trip activities, such as; hand-made DIY rice noodle creative cuisine.
