The National History Museum is located on the Changsha Street behind the Presidential Office Building. The architecture is a city-designated cultural heritage site that blends Western classical and modern styles. It was originally the Department of Communications of the Governor-General's Office during the Japanese colonial period.
In October 2010, the "Exhibition of Cultural Relics of the President and Vice President" was launched, displaying themes and artifacts related to the President and Vice President, as well as diplomatic gifts from various countries. In addition to regular tours and group reservation tours, related promotion and education activities are also held, including lecture series and special lectures on cultural relics. In addition, digital files of the collection are provided for public access and application.
