From the mouth of Nanfangao's Neipu Fishing Harbor (referred to as "Neipu Ya"by locals), follow Xuefu Road, which winds upward along the harbor's slope. Just beyond lies a secluded bay suddenly revealed before you, tranquil and charming under the embrace of mountain mists and the sea—this is Nanfangao's private coastline, "Neipu Bay." The harbor is shielded from the Pacific Ocean by dune barriers. Facing west toward the harbor, the bay is nestled against mountains and the sea, with captivating landscapes and serene beauty that let visitors enjoy sunrise views and witness the majestic waves crashing against the shore. The beach blends fine sand with small pebbles adorned in various patterns and vivid colors. On sunny days with intense sunlight, these stones sparkle with refracted rays, creating a romantic atmosphere. This hidden, quiet bay, with mountain and sea as silent witnesses, maintains its humble charm, frequently attracting lovers to enjoy its privacy—it is also called "Lovers' Bay." On weekends, visitors can drive along the shore to Nan’an Junior High School to take in views of Neipu Bay's seafront, stroll to Beibin Park for a coastal perspective, or climb higher to Nan’an Elementary School to see the bay from an entirely different vantage.
