Simplified Chinese: Worship of the main deity: The Xianji Spirit King was built in the 46th year of the Qianlong reign, and it is also one of the older temples in Penghu. It was rebuilt in the 54th year of the Republic of China and has been maintained to this day. The wooden carving and sculpted floral patterns on the temple façade were created by the disciple of the master sculptor Huang Liangshi, who worked on the Tianhou Palace. This is the only temple in Penghu that venerates Xie An as its main deity. The former prime minister Xie An was deified as the "Xianji Spirit King" and, due to his great service in the Battle of Feishui, is also known as the "Noble King Who Protects the Nation."
