Located in the Qingshui District, Zhao Family Old House “Tianshuitang” was built around 1890 and has more than a hundred years of history. The old house is a two‑courtyard, six‑guard dragon layout, surrounded by dense bamboo fencing. Paired with a pond of pink lotus flowers in front, the ancient scenery is charming and worth a visit. Behind it, the Ao Feng Mountain and the surrounding waterways create a fairly complete “sanheyuan” (three‑courtyard courtyard house). During the summer months from May to August, lotus flowers gradually bloom in the Crescent Pond, forming a beautiful lotus field. The scene, accompanied by green mountains, lush fields, and the old house, creates a picturesque pastoral landscape painting that attracts many tourists and photography enthusiasts to come and capture it. Note: The old house is a private residence and the interior is not open to the public. The front plaza and lotus garden are free to enter for photography.
