“Fàipéntóu” is a place to eat, located in the southern part of Fú Nán Village, Nánjiāng Village, Nánzhuāng Township. The exterior and interior decoration of the building were personally crafted by the owner, using Nánzhuāng’s specialty bamboo. With minimal budget, it showcases the modest beauty of Hakka people. The owner, Mr. Ni, is a local Hakka descendant. With his simple, sincere, and grateful nature, he runs this restaurant with heart, allowing guests to enjoy delicious and healthy Hakka cuisine. The ingredients come from locally raised and sold free-range chickens, fresh locally produced vegetables and fruits, as well as grandma’s fermented plum, fu cai, dried fish, pickled bamboo shoots, and spicy bamboo shoots… Mr. Ni insists on natural, healthy, and fresh ingredients, so guests can enjoy the taste and feel the warmth of Hakka hospitality. Because of past efforts, Fàipéntóu has been awarded the excellent Hakka cuisine certification by the Miaoli County Cultural Affairs Bureau. Mr. Ni sincerely thanks longtime loyal customers and new friends for their support over the years. When you next visit Nánzhuāng, don’t forget to stop by Fàipéntóu!
