The station within the Ziban Butterfly Garden was established in 1928 (Meiji 41). At that time it was called Lin-Inner Station and was the first longitudinal line station on the south bank of the Choshui River. It is north of E Shui Station, south of Shiliu Station, and formerly had a branch line from the Mitsubishi Paper Factory that connected to the station. It is now a third-class Taiwan Railway Administration station.
