Zihping is located at the southernmost part of Green Island, adjacent to the "Green Island Camping Area." From the trail beside the camping area, one can access the coastal lagoon "Zihping." "Zihping" is a tidal pool formed by coral reefs and the location of Green Island's famous lagoon. It boasts the most complete lagoon terrain and coral reef vegetation on the entire Green Island, along with abundant mangrove plants like water caltrop (Nypa fruticans) and rare land hermit crabs. Despite the turbulent waves on the open sea, the inner lagoon remains calm, like a sleeping lake, resting quietly between the outer coral reefs and the inner coral shell sandy beach. The silhouettes of water caltrop shrubs are reflected on the undisturbed surface, while white, fine sand carpets the lake bottom. The enchanting scenery of this tropical coastline speaks for itself.
