Located near Nanfang'ao Jìn'ān Gōng and nestled among the mountains and by the water, the Nanfang'ao Visitor Center is a green building that showcases the unique characteristics of the area. The two-story building incorporates elements of fishing villages and fishing culture, reflecting the local features. The center provides information on the natural ecology, marine culture, recreational spots, and tourist attractions of the Northeast Cape and Yilan Coast, as well as travel information for the Su'ao and Nanfang'ao areas. This allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the local wetland ecology, fishing village culture, cold springs, and fresh seafood, and experience the beauty and charm of Yilan. The Nanfang'ao Visitor Center is a cultural space that blends with the environment and utilizes natural resources effectively. The center uses wind power generation and a rainwater collection system, and features large windows that provide natural ventilation and abundant natural light. The interior of the center is bright, airy, and transparent, and the beautiful scenery outside the windows seamlessly integrates with the coastal landscape. During a visit, you can even catch a whiff of the salty sea air and the distinct local flavor of Nanfang'ao.
