Rice Cafe's name comes from the Japanese word for "rice scoop," representing our commitment to providing high-quality, authentic Japanese rice dishes. Rice is the pride of Rice Cafe, and all dishes in the restaurant use the original variety of Koshihikari rice, originally from Niigata and transplanted to Taiwan. It has the perfect texture, with distinct grains, and is the only Japanese restaurant that won the first Taiwan Rice Restaurant Competition organized by the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan.
