高雄市杉林區清水路合興巷
Sancheng is the second highest district in Kaohsiung in terms of Hakka population proportion. The Huangjia Hufang in Moon-Crest Township has a history of over a hundred years and bears witness to Hakka ancestors developing the area. At the entrance, the archway has "Filial Friendship Legacy" inscribed on the main beam and "Five Classics Generations" on the back, symbolizing the tradition of filial piety. This clearly demonstrates the Huang family's strict adherence to the teachings of their ancestors, constantly urging descendants to be friendly to others and filial toward seniors while diligently studying. The fan decoration on the archway stems from the story of Wang Xiang in the 24 Filial Exemplars, which is the Fan Cooling the Pillow and Warming the Quilt. This is the most complete preserved archway in Hakka areas. The traditional Three-Part Courtyard house is well maintained, with a unique crab hole feng shui layout, and is a rare modern historic site. From Meinong to Sancheng, take the triangular road intersection at its right corner as the starting point of High 113-1, then walk along the water channel towards the direction of Huangjia Hufang. The landmark hundred-year-old mango tree and the half-moon pool bubbling with water lie ahead. The Jiang Xia Hall in the main hall enshrines ancestral tablets of the Huang family generations. Additional structures include the laundromat, ancient well, and Bao Gong altar.
