Located on Zhongxiao Street in Xikou Township, Xikou Old-Fashioned Pork Blood Soup is a nostalgic delicacy that has been passed down in Xikou for more than a quarter-century. Originally run by Ms. Zheng Furong and her husband, the stall became renowned for its rich flavor and generous ingredients. Even though it started as a simple roadside cart, it has endured for decades as a beloved local treat.
To keep this great taste alive, the Zheng couple handed the stall over to their brother and sister‑in‑law before retirement. Their sister‑in‑law, Ms. Wu Qionghui, who now takes charge of the kitchen, continues to use the traditional methods, ensuring that this cherished Xikou snack keeps nourishing the palates of many food lovers.
