高雄市前金區市中一路217號
Located on Chung I Road in Kaohsiung City, Li De Baseball Field was established during the Japanese colonial period. In 1974 (63rd year of the Republic era), the field was renamed to commemorate the Li De Little League Team's victory in the 28th Little League World Series, giving it a long and storied history cherished as a shared passionate memory among baseball fans in southern Taiwan. The stadium has a seating capacity of 9,500. Notably, it is the only field in Taiwan where iron nets are installed along all the boundary lines in the infield, enabling spectators to enjoy a close-up view of the action up on the field. The outfield bleachers are fully covered with canopies, providing shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. To accommodate events for the 2009 World Games, the city government renovated both the hardware and software facilities of the stadium in alignment with the requirements of the softball competition. The outfield bleachers have been removed to integrate with the scenic Love River vista. The government also has plans to convert the stadium into an international-standard field, further enhancing the multipurpose functionality of this urban baseball hub.
