Long before LoungeBars became popular in Taipei, there were already many established JazzPubs. BlueNote, located at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Shida Road, is one such place. Hidden within a building, it is easy to miss if you don't look closely. However, its reputation and owner, Cai Ba, are well known among jazz music lovers. This place has not only inspired countless jazz enthusiasts, but also served as an important stage for jazz musicians. The famous band, The Chameleons, rose to fame here. BlueNote is not a large store. In its small space, tables and small round chairs are evenly arranged. The dim lighting and simple decoration create a strong bar atmosphere. With Cai Ba's warm hospitality, the store feels particularly warm. Accompanied by the performances on stage, you can order a cup of coffee or a cocktail, listen to blues music, relax simply, sway your body, and enjoy the leisurely night time.
