Beautiful Hualien is Taiwan's backyard. Located in the center of the Hualien-Taitung Longitudinal Valley, Yuli and Zhuoxi are surrounded by mountains and have fresh air, like a fairyland.
The upper streams of Xiuguluan River, such as Qingshui Creek, Lakulaku Creek, and Heping Creek, have created a vast and fertile area through alluvial deposits. Not only do they receive pure water sources from Jade Mountain, the Central Mountain Range, and the Coastal Mountain Range, but they are also enriched with mineral essences and trace elements from the Eurasian and Philippine plates, nourishing the rice and giving "Wow Good Rice" its exceptional characteristics and flavor.
The terrain between the two mountains in the longitudinal valley and the natural barrier of the Wuheshou Platform at the northern end not only shorten the intense sunlight but also moderate the cold northeastern monsoon in winter. This also creates a growth environment with a large diurnal temperature difference, allowing the rice in the Yuxi region to have a longer growing period for energy and nutrient storage for two crops a year, resulting in a solid texture and taste.
