The Amis Shikha Image Museum is located in central Baimian Township. In accordance with the idea of giving back to the community, it combines local agricultural and fishing specialties, and rides on a tourist train to let visitors learn about the culture and people of Taitung, while also taking Taitung’s local products outside. In pursuit of a representative specialty, pineapple Shikha was chosen as the main feature. With investment in money, manpower, and resources, the unique flavor was extracted and technical challenges were overcome to develop Shikha cakes. The Amis Shikha Image Museum has been established. It is hoped that the cultural heritage, local customs, and culinary culture of Taitung will be spread through the establishment of the Amis Shikha Image Museum.
