台北市士林區中正路253號2樓
Kafe Nong aims to create a comfortable and relaxed dining environment and atmosphere, offering high-quality and affordable meals and beverages. With the professional backgrounds of its management team from different industries such as catering, retail, interior decoration, and multimedia, after eight years of operation, Kafe Nong has successfully established a brand concept of affordable and refined casual dining cafes, characterized by neutral, simple, and low-key dining environments, high-quality and reasonably priced meals, and enthusiastic and warm service from the staff. This allows every customer who comes to dine to have a relaxed and stress-free gathering with friends. Kafe Nong was founded in late 2006 by five young people with different work backgrounds who share the same interest and passion for the catering service industry. Located near a quiet alley in the bustling commercial area of "Dong District" in Taipei City, it is named "Kafe Nong." The word "nong" also means to play or handle, and the Kafe Nong team uses this to remind themselves of their original intention in the catering service industry, continuously innovating and providing better meals and drinks to the public. By the end of 2016, Kafe Nong had five stores in Taipei (Zhongxiao, Dunhua, Shilin, Zhanqian, JianTan) and two stores in Hong Kong (Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui). At the beginning of its operation in late 2006, the store was only about 20 tsubo in size, with a simple and rustic space design and an open kitchen. The warm and friendly service, along with generous, refined, and reasonably priced meals, quickly won the favor of many friends. Relying on the power of online word-of-mouth, Kafe Nong became one of the must-visit cafes in the Dong District commercial area for young people. By early 2009, to meet the requests of many Kafe Nong fans, Kafe Nong opened its second store, Dunhua Store, in another district of the Dong District commercial area. Unlike the quiet atmosphere of the Zhongxiao Store, the Dunhua Store features large glass windows, spacious dining areas, and equally excellent refined meals. Every weekend and holiday, a queue of people waiting to enter for meals can be seen at the entrance, becoming a scenic spot in the busy clothing street. In 2010, Kafe Nong opened the Shilin and Zhanqian stores, making the delicious food of Kafe Nong no longer a privilege only for friends shopping and shopping in the eastern district of Taipei City. Due to the increasing number of stores, Kafe Nong has set up its own central kitchen and raw material distribution system to ensure that all customers visiting Kafe Nong can enjoy meals of the same quality. In addition to maintaining consistent service quality and innovation in the meals, Kafe Nong's creativity also continuously updates the design of the dining environment. The Zhanqian Store adopted the first large-scale green wall in Taipei cafes, which was highly praised. Since then, the green wall has become one of the highlights of Kafe Nong. In late 2011, in cooperation with ATT4FUN Department Store, Kafe Nong made its debut in a department store. Due to the matching operating hours, it differs from other stores with earlier opening hours. As soon as it opened, it became a favorite for office workers and residents around the Xinyi Planning Area for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. Located near the landmark of the Xinyi Planning Area, Taipei 101 Building, Kafe Nong's new concept of casual dining cafes not only won the love of local consumers but also attracted many tourists' attention. In early March 2012, the sixth store, JianTan Store, opened near the famous tourist attraction, Shilin Night Market, actively exposing the Kafe Nong brand concept to international tourists. In 2013, after nearly two years of planning and preparation, Kafe Nong's first overseas store opened in the prime commercial area of Hong Kong, "Causeway Bay." In addition to selecting high-quality imported ingredients from Hong Kong, it also directly delivers fresh local products from Taiwan to maintain the same taste of meals in both Taipei and Hong Kong stores. The news that the high-quality light meal cafe brand from Taiwan entered Hong Kong received extensive media coverage in the Hong Kong area, and the Causeway Bay Store had long queues during the trial operation period. In 2014, the Tsim Sha Tsui Store opened near the famous shopping mall, Harbour City, benefiting many friends who had not yet had the chance to dine at Kafe Nong due to long queues. Kafe Nong's expansion overseas achieved surprisingly good results.
