Overlooking the beautiful scenery of Jincheng and backed by the Fenglian Mountains, visitors to Kinmen must definitely climb up the Juguang Tower to enjoy the panoramic views of Kinmen! As a symbol of the spirit of Kinmen, the Juguang Tower uses traditional Chinese architectural methods, placing a traditional city tower on a modern building base, creating a unique architectural beauty. This building was constructed in 1952 to honor the heroic deeds of the soldiers in the battles of Kinmen. The tower has three floors, each with different exhibition themes. The most famous one is General Hu Lian's "Sun and Moon Medal." From 1959 to 1964, the Juguang Tower was used as a theme for the stamps of the Republic of China Post Bureau four times, and the mail was sent all over the world. It became a famous landmark building in the battlefield Kinmen, as well as the best representative of Kinmen at that time.
