The Luoliao Keng Rest Area for viewing the Tung tree flowers features a systematic trail that starts from a 300-year-old Tung tree and goes through Tunnel of Tung Flowers 1, Tunnel of Tung Flowers 2, Firefly Viewing Area, Wetland Farm, Stone Grandfather and Stone Grandmother, Tung Flower Trail 2, General Zou Hong's Former Residence, Tung Flower Trail, and Zhongwu House. Among the trails, the Wetland Farm trail is the most distinctive. Located on the top of Danshui Wo, the trail has rich water resources and remains unspoiled, preserving a diverse ecosystem. The wetland is home to diverse wildlife, including pond snails, loaches, ducks lined up for foraging, and various bird species. As you walk through the trail, you may hear the harmonious calls of the blue magpie and the variegated bird, and see the crested eagle soaring above. Don't forget to bring a telescope to observe the birds up close when visiting the Wetland Farm. The Wetland Farm on summer nights is also an ideal spot for firefly watching.
