"Qing Qian Di" is located in Wuhu Village, Xi Hu Township, on the north side of the "Mia 119" highway. It is the old home of Mr. Zhang Qingxiu, the 9th Township Mayor of Xi Hu Township. "Qing Qian Di" was initially built during the Tongzhi era of the Qing dynasty, and has a history of over a hundred years. It has undergone several renovations, with the most recent major renovation taking place around 1954. The exterior appears to be a spacious brick walled three-in-one courtyard building. However, upon closer inspection, its layout, beams, pillars, and altars have a unique and distinctive style compared to traditional Hakka dwellings. The structure of the entire house is in the shape of the character "Chang", symbolizing the prosperity and thriving of the family. It is divided into a main hall, left and right wing rooms, and two courtyards. Above the main entrance of the main hall are the three large characters "Qing Qian Di", with two ancient stone pillars standing on either side. The brackets and horizontal beams on the pillars have intricate carvings and a rich, ancient charm. The layout of "Qing Qian Di" is spacious and elegant, surrounded by lush green trees and bamboo groves, creating a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Being immersed in this setting easily evokes a nostalgic feeling for the past. Indeed, it is an ancient house well worth preserving.
